So dns decided to fuck up today… and now instead we are running with OpenDNS which is a sweet service i really recommend to anyone, it’s quick and works well.
Main issue for me and a friend was that geekstep.com wouldn’t resolve, which tracked back to our isp’s dns cache hadn’t been renewed in a while, making sure the domain just pointed to the old server.
Looks like I will be the one that have to take care of the Grønnmo plan :/ but I do have contacts there though
Well I seem to promise myself that i should write more on my blog, but I ALWAYS forget T_T
Anyways, so I’m working on RPCP, RandPC Project, where the plan is to create the most powerfull home-made, privately owned cluster. Things are looking good so far, 8 PCs running plus a master, not the most efficient way, but shurley the most cheap(a proper load ballancer costs a couple of grands these days ) Feed is at the bottom for the RPCP.
Also decided to use a new theme, really sweet one for that.
Not really much have happend else, gonna try to post a litle more though, make this site some what interesting
anyways, it’s been much to do lately, but there is more coming >.<
good news is, I finally got my hands on Woopra at the moment it’s a lousy view but at least it looks good, and will hopefully give me an idea on actually how many are coming here
Since last, I’ve driven over 200 miles in GRID, killed 230 people in Team Fortress 2, got myself a new server, broke an old one, and fucked another one, written over 20 000 lines of code, and last but not least, written 300 posts on a(single one) forum.
Soon i may be hosting this site at home(woot), cause we might just upgrade our line to 24/1.6 Mbit ADSL(for a wooping 298 kroner, about $60),
else I’ve upgraded my rig already, instead of a single 8800 GT it now got dual 8800 GTX
Yay for me! I where so smart, i forgot taking backup.
And my host moved to a new server, and also forgot to take backups(can’t blame them though I got responsibility to have a backup of my content anyways)
There wasn’t much important there anyways :p
ps. Remember to update your feeds, feedburner refuses my rss link
